The opportunity

We’re looking for a Partnership Manager to join our Agency Partnerships team. In this role, you will support the Senior Manager and be accountable for delivering effective and efficient customer service to our underwriting agency business partners, helping to achieve growth and underwriting profit.

Your new role

In this role, you will:

- Support the development and implementation of strategies to drive Agency portfolio performance and attract new agency partners
- Monitor portfolio results, identify trends and opportunities, and implement recommendations and corrective actions
- Manage portfolio performance responsibilities with a strong focus on P&L outcomes
- Build strong networks and relationships with internal stakeholders and Agency partners
- Maintain a deep understanding of current market conditions and foster relationships across the insurance market
- Ensure risk, governance, regulatory and personal accreditation requirements are met
- Represent QBE with external parties and role model QBE’s values and leadership capabilities

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Demonstrated P&L and performance management experience, including managing portfolio results and key financial metrics
- Broad knowledge of insurance and business development, with intermediary insurance, coverholder management or underwriting experience highly regarded
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyse results, identify trends and recommend improvements
- Working knowledge of risk management, governance and regulatory requirements
- Strong influencing, relationship-building and communication skills
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver agreed priorities
- A self-motivated, performance-driven approach with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and collaboratively
