About this role

Role Purpose The B2B Account Executive is responsible for owning and growing a portfolio of partner and client relationships in KSA, ensuring day-to-day execution is handled proactively and with minimal escalation. This role acts as the operational extension of the Partnerships & BD Manager — translating strategic partnership goals into consistent, on-the-ground delivery, while flagging risks and opportunities early. The ideal candidate combines strong ownership instincts with the judgment to know when to act independently and when to escalate.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Account & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for an assigned portfolio of partners/accounts in KSA.
- Build trusted relationships with partner stakeholders, understanding their business needs and priorities.
- Ensure contractual obligations, SLAs, and partnership commitments are tracked and met.
2. Execution & Coordination
- Translate partnership agreements and BD initiatives into actionable execution plans.
- Coordinate internally across marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to deliver on partner commitments.
- Manage onboarding of new partners/accounts, ensuring a smooth and professional launch.
3. Reporting & Insight
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date account records, trackers, and CRM data.
- Prepare regular performance reports and account health summaries for the Partnerships & BD Manager.
- Proactively surface risks, blockers, and opportunities — not just report on what already happened.
4. Growth & Retention
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities within existing accounts.
- Support the Partnerships & BD Manager in preparing proposals, QBRs (quarterly business reviews), and renewal negotiations.
- Monitor partner satisfaction and act quickly to resolve issues before they escalate.
5. Initiative & Ownership
- Anticipate needs rather than waiting for instructions; bring solutions, not just problems.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks end-to-end, following up independently until resolved.
- Exercise sound judgment on prioritization, escalating only what genuinely requires managerial input.
Required Qualifications:
- Based in Riyadh with a transferable iqama.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in account management, client servicing, partnerships, or business development — preferably in the KSA/GCC market.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) — essential for local partner communication.
- Strong track record of managing multiple accounts/relationships simultaneously without dropping details.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Apollo, PipeDrive) and Microsoft/Google productivity suites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working directly with or reporting to a BD/Partnerships function.
- Existing network or familiarity with the KSA business landscape (government, private sector, or relevant industry).
- Experience with reporting/dashboarding tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
Core Competencies & Attitude:
- Ownership mindset — treats accounts as their own business, not just assigned tasks.
- Proactive communicator — updates before being asked, flags issues early.
- Fast learner / quick grasp — picks up new partner contexts, products, and processes with minimal hand-holding.
- Composed under pressure — handles multiple stakeholders and deadlines without losing quality.
- Detail-oriented but not slow — balances accuracy with speed of execution.
- Collaborative — works smoothly across internal teams to get things done.
- Culturally fluent — comfortable navigating KSA business etiquette and relationship-driven dealmaking.
Success Metrics (first 6–12 months):
- Portfolio retention/renewal rate
- Partner/account satisfaction scores
- Turnaround time on requests and issue resolution
- Quality and timeliness of reporting to the Partnerships & BD Manager
- Number of proactively identified growth opportunities converted
