Role: Specialist Teaching Assistant (Literacy) (Maternity Cover)

Academy: Outwood Academy Ormesby

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Salary (Actual Salary): £10,228.36 to £11,036.97 (Grade 9, SCP 22-25)

Working Pattern: 12.5 Hours Per Week, Term time only plus 5 days.

Please note this role is a temporary maternity position and will end on the return of the substantive post holder.

It is essential that candidates meet the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) standards or possess equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience. Candidates must be knowledgeable of the needs of students with learning difficulties and disabilities and the SEND Code of Practice.
Required skills include the ability to write comprehensive reports, risk assessments, and Individual Health Care Plans, coupled with proven experience using data to measure and monitor progress and attainment. Efficient and effective organisational skills are mandatory.
