IT Business Systems Analyst II

The Business Analyst (Software Acquisition and Installation Support & Program Support) is a dual-function, enterprise-critical role responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of software acquisition and deployment while simultaneously providing high-caliber analytical and administrative support to program management leadership. This position serves as a strategic bridge between OTECH Business Systems and Supply Chain Management, IT operations, OTECH programs, and functional units/departments, ensuring that software assets are sourced, acquired, installed, and maintained in alignment with organizational requirements and governance standards. The Analyst operates across functional boundaries to support both tactical IT objectives and broader programmatic goals, making this role uniquely positioned to drive operational effectiveness at multiple organizational levels. The role focuses specifically on enterprise-wide business systems and software.

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in business systems analysis, process administration and control, enterprise systems administration, system integration, or a related role within a complex, cross-functional organization.
- Experience with any of the following functional domains: Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracting, or IT.
- Experience developing and maintaining catalogs and process documents in an enterprise environment
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and requirements gathering and analysis
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality functional specifications, SOPs, workflow diagrams (Visio or equivalent), and stakeholder presentations
- Experience with business systems (ERP, MRP, PDM, PLM, Microsoft 365, etc.) and cross-module and/or cross-system integrations

Desired

- Experience with software acquisition and implementation lifecycle
- Experience with business process automation and improvement
- Project or Program Management – PMP or PgMP certification or experience is a bonus
- Experience in aerospace, defense, government contracting, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.

The salary range for this position is $80,600 - $121,000.
