Shape the future of our architectural practice while leading transformative projects as our Architecture Lead. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the primary client leader for B&N Architecture in the Virigina region, building lasting relationships, driving business development, and delivering exceptional project experiences. You'll orchestrate the growth of our practice through strategic client engagement while mentoring talented staff and maintaining the highest standards of design excellence.

What You'll Do:

- Combine technical architectural expertise with business development acumen to grow our practice while delivering exceptional projects that exceed client expectations

- Foster new client relationships from initial contact through project completion

- Extend and help maintain existing established and successful relationships

- Drive business development, including marketing initiatives, proposals, and presentations (with support from our Marketing and Communications team)

- Mentor and manage staff, fostering a collaborative environment

- Actively participate in project delivery to ensure outstanding client experiences

- Oversee project performance, budgets, schedules, and risk management

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an NAAB-accredited program required; Master of Architecture from an NAAC-accredited program preferred

- Registered Architect in the state of employment, or eligibility for reciprocal licensure through NCARB certification

- 15+ years of professional experience

- Proven track record building and maintaining client relationships

- Excellent communication skills with keen attention to detail

- Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as a proactive approach to problem solving

- Servant leader committed to fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence while developing others
