Church360 Community Outreach Coordinator

Position Summary:   The Community Outreach Coordinator advances Church360’s mission by building meaningful, lasting relationships across the local community. This role actively partners with neighborhood organizations, schools, and businesses to coordinate service initiatives, plan outreach events, and mobilize volunteer teams. Working closely with church leadership and staff, the  Coordinator  empowers the congregation to extend the hope of the gospel beyond the walls of the church.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include  but are not limited to  the following :

- Community Partnerships:  Cultivate and  maintain  strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, civic leaders, and schools.

- Volunteer Mobilization:  Recruit, equip, train, and shepherd volunteer teams to execute impactful outreach activities.

- Event Oversight:  Plan, coordinate, and execute community events, service initiatives, and seasonal outreach projects.

- Missions Liaison:  Serve as the primary contact for locally funded mission partners, connecting regularly to support prayer needs, coordinate volunteer engagement, and  facilitate  sponsored events.

- School Engagement:  Serve as the primary liaison for local schools,  maintaining  consistent communication to  identify  faculty, staff,  student , and neighborhood needs.

- Strategic Collaboration:  Partner with staff and ministry leaders to  identify  strategic outreach opportunities and develop programs aligned with church vision lanes.

- Marketing & Communications:  Collaborate with the communications team to effectively promote outreach efforts both within the congregation and across the broader community.

- On-Campus Events:  Assist in logistical planning and execution for major on-property outreach events.

- Perform  additional  related duties as assigned.

- High level  of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs and ability to learn and use  RockRMS  (church database).

Education and Experience:

- Preferably a  Bachelor’s  degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or two or more years of related experience, and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods while using a computer.

- Proficiency  in typing and using office equipment ( e.g.  printers, scanners , calculators ).

- Capability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.

- Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed.
