The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience leveraging Gen AI and ML to enhance customer experiences.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud, or related cloud platforms.
- Proven track record of iteratively delivering large-scale solutions with accelerated timelines.
- Strong track record of mentorship.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Provide technical leadership across the wider organization working on agents' lifecycle management.
- Drive expanded product usage and adoption through technological solutions motivated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
- Develop technology strategy and phased plans to drive product improvements or process simplifications.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders across Cloud AI and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to drive alignment and deliver customer value.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and ML, to improve usability of our products and user experiences.
