Extrusion Operator

Job Description:

The Extrusion Press Operator will   be responsible for   the process of applying coating to  drawn   and cut steel wire.

Essential Functions :

- Candidate   must be able to learn all aspects of the extrusion and baking process.

- This person must be mechanically inclined and willing to   utilize   these skills to   enhance   the value of the team.

- Perform required quality checks

- Complete machine setup/changeover promptly

- Input data accurately into   Routecard

Qualifications

- Able to stand for   long periods   of   time

- Must   be able to work well with others .

- Be   safety conscious   and have a “safety first” attitude.

- Obtain a forklift license and be physically capable of   safely   operating   the forklift

- Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.

- Press Operator experience preferred.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb   ladders

- Computer experience   preferred .
