POSITION SUMMARY:

Join a team that enables the technologies powering the world's semiconductor manufacturing equipment. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead a skilled team responsible for the assembly and testing of complex hybrid products in a cutting edge and faced paced manufacturing environment. You will drive operational excellence, champion continuous improvement, develop frontline talent, and collaborate across engineering, supply chain, quality, and production planning to deliver exceptional results for our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead daily manufacturing operations for a team producing highly engineered hybrid products supporting the semiconductor industry.

- Create a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment focused on quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.

- Execute on production plans, allocate resources, and establish priorities to meet customer commitments and business objectives.

- Monitor and drive performance through key operational metrics including safety, quality, productivity, schedule attainment, and inventory performance.

- Coach, mentor, and develop employees through regular feedback, performance management, career development, and skills training.

- Foster a culture of ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement by empowering employees to identify and solve operational challenges.

- Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Production Planning, Materials, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams to optimize manufacturing processes and support new product introductions.

- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.

- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives that improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.

- Manage staffing, workforce planning, hiring, employee development, performance evaluations, and employee relations activities.

- Support strategic operations initiatives and special projects as business needs evolve.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

- Location: Fort Collins, CO

- Environment: Works in a manufacturing environment which may be noisy and fast paced.

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Experience leading or supervising manufacturing teams in a production environment.

- Background in electronics, electro-mechanical assembly, semiconductor, aerospace, medical device, or other highly regulated technical manufacturing environments is highly valued.

- Experience operating in a highly dynamic production setting.

- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, solve problems, and drive results through collaboration and accountability.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience preferred.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing customer and business priorities.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence across functions and organizational levels.

- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze trends and make informed operational decisions.

EXPERIENCE:

- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

- Electronics or technical manufacturing experience.

- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

- Experience supporting semiconductor, advanced electronics, or precision manufacturing operations preferred.

EDUCATION:

- Associates degree in a Business Management, Technical, or Supply Chain related field

COMPENSATION:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $65,000 to $90,000 per year.
