Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant – Lead Therapist – Full Time

Healthcare Therapy Services [HTS] is now hiring an Occupational Therapist Assistant [OTA] to lead our therapy team at a CMS 5-star rated continuing care retirement community in northeast Fort Wayne, Indiana, just inside I-469. The OTA in this position will treat patients for a majority of hours while also performing Lead Therapist responsibilities such as attending facility and team meetings, following up on therapy referrals, planning minutes and reporting any issues to Regional Director.

This CCRC has a diverse caseload from short-term rehab, long term care, memory care, outpatient, and assisted living and independent living populations. Two well-equipped therapy gyms featuring ADL training spaces are in the main campus, and there is a third gym at the villa community clubhouse.

· This is a full-time position at 30 – 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
