The Aeronautics Global Sustainment Modifications, Upgrades, and Overhauls (MUO) 5th Generation Planning, Integration, and Management (PM&I) team is seeking a full-time F-35 Project Manager. In this role you will partner with cross‑functional teams to plan, integrate, and manage modification or retrofit activities tied to engineering changes for scheduled upgrade events. You will be responsible for accurately coordinating critical planning, project management, and scheduling data with technical data authors, induction planners & schedulers, and leadership to meet program objectives. U.S. citizenship is required, and the position is located at a facility that requires special access clearance.
The role encompasses a range of responsibilities, such as cradle‑to‑grave project management, briefing modification status, conducting project reviews for modification events, and compiling, authoring, and distributing air-vehicle MUO operations reports and performance deliverables for F‑35 program stakeholders. In addition, the chosen candidate will provide reach‑back technical support to field maintainers and modification teams during verification and proof‑of‑concept events for assigned projects. A strong work ethic and self‑starting initiative are essential.
Basic Qualifications
* Must be a U.S. Citizen as this position is located at a facility that requires special access.
* Holds a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, OR holds an equivalent combination of education and related experience
* Demonstrated experience applying Project Management and/or Program Management methodologies.
Desired Skills
* Demonstrated experience supporting military or commercial aircraft, with a strong background in aviation maintenance and logistics.
* Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams, actively fostering collaboration, aligning objectives, and resolving conflicts to drive unified project execution.
* Comfortable working in dynamic environments, adept at managing shifting priorities and rapidly adapting work plans.
* End-to-end ownership of project deliverables through execution, closure, and post implementation support, assuming full responsibility and accountability for schedule, scope, quality, and successful delivery.
* Skilled at diagnosing complex problems and devising practical, results driven solutions under pressure.
* Experience communicating project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders through concise written reports and regular briefings tailored to technical and executive audiences.
* Proactive identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and tracking of project risks and issues.
* Detail‑oriented, ensuring accurate project documentation and thorough traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
