About this role
Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our Houston Westchase office. The ideal candidate will lead exciting industrial steel & concrete structural projects and be recognized as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural or related field required.
- 12+ years of Structural Engineering experience in the Power and Industrial industry.
- Professional registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). (required)
- Professional registration as a Structural Engineer (S.E.) (preferred)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, STAADPro, RISA, Enercalc or similar analysis software
- Familiarity with 3D design and viewing software such as Navisworks
- Experience with large industrial projects, and understanding of project environments, requirements, and risks
- Knowledge and understanding of engineering, construction, and project management
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Strong language skills (written and oral)
- Strong Microsoft Office software skills
- Must have authorization to work in the United States for any employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
