About The Role:

We are seeking a Training Coordinator to support our Atlas Tube facility in Chicago, IL, helping develop and strengthen the skills of our workforce while driving employee engagement, safety, and performance.

What You'll Do

As a Training Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting workforce development initiatives by designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee performance and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor training programs across the facility.
- Partner with management to identify training needs and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with floor leads and supervisors on employee evaluations and skill development initiatives.
- Continuously assess training effectiveness and update training content and curriculum as needed.
- Manage training records, documentation, and employee progress tracking.
- Coordinate and maintain the Department Mastery Program (DMP), ensuring accurate registration and progress reporting to support cross-functional workforce versatility.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding sessions.
- Create engaging training materials, brochures, presentations, multimedia content, and visual aids.
- Deliver training through various methods including classroom instruction, on-the-job training, demonstrations, workshops, meetings, and conferences.
- Provide performance-related feedback and recommendations to facility leadership.
- Support continuing education initiatives and leadership development programs.
- Build strong relationships across departments and functions to support training objectives.
- Provide logistical support for training events, course development, delivery, and evaluations.
- Assist with the development and execution of strategic training and workforce development plans.
- Champion and promote safe work practices in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, learning and development, workforce development, or a related role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full training lifecycle, including needs assessment, planning, development, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work onsite on a regular, full-time, predictable schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Training & Development, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
- Experience supporting employee development, leadership training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
