As a Warehouse Associate at Ascentek, youll play a key role in supporting our fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse by helping ensure products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to customers on time. This position requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. You'll contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and a safe, clean workplace.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently

- Receive incoming product and verify against vendor documentation using scan tools

- Physically count inventory and support routine cycle counts

- Operate within the warehouse management system to track movement and storage of materials

- Identify and report defective or questionable materials to team leads or supervisors

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to support safety and efficiency

- Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety programs and initiatives

- Assist in loading and unloading trucks and managing staging areas

- Communicate effectively with warehouse teammates, leads, and other departments

- Support customer service through timely and accurate order fulfillment

- Follow standard operating procedures and suggest process improvements as appropriate

- Participate in cross-training across various warehouse functions

- Support return goods processing and inventory adjustments as assigned

- Assist with end-of-day closeout tasks including paperwork and inventory reconciliation

- Operate material handling equipment as certified

Education:

- High school diploma or GED

Experience and/or Training:

- Experience in a physically active or team-based work environment

- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds as needed

- Basic math and computer skills

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures

- Prior experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling roles

- Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems

- General understanding of Lean principles or continuous improvement practices

- Forklift certification or prior experience operating material handling equipment

- Coursework or certifications in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain

- Working knowledge of scanning tools or WMS platforms

- Strong problem-solving skills related to order flow and inventory accuracy

Physical, Mental, Environmental Demands:

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift

- Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds

- Exposure to warehouse environment including varying temperatures, noise, and dust

- Use of handheld scanners, computers, and material handling equipment

- Use of PPE when working near machinery, loading docks, or inventory storage areas

The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $22 and $23 hourly. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:
