About this role

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting Living Innovations’ mission, vision, and values within the context of policies and standards established for and by Living Innovations. Responsible for providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers, employees, and supported individuals; and for data entry into document management system, data entry into billing spreadsheets, reconciliation of time between billing and payroll, documentation of billing processes.

Supervises no one but occasionally may show other employees how to perform a task.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Customer Service

- Responds to business office inquiries in a professional, warm, friendly manner

- Responds to employee and individual inquiries.

- Uses direction in handling confidential information

- Supports and promotes the mission and values of Living Innovations.

- Excellent customer service skills both via phone and office interactions.

Billing

- Ensures billing documents are filed electronically in appropriate areas of document management system

- Maintains a log of all missing billing items.

- Reconciling billing logs with payroll logs

Document Management

- Maintains supported individual authorization files and archives authorizations that are not current.

- File weekly record of client services to document management system.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION

- High school diploma

- Experience in billing preferred

- Valid state issued drivers license and proof of current vehicle insurance.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

•           Ability to make well   reasoned decisions, both independently and as part of a team.

•           Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information.

•     Ability to use effective communication skills including speaking, reading, writing, listening, presentation, etc. with consumers, family members, guardians, and individuals at all levels of the organization.

•     Ability to manage, prioritize, and carry out multiple tasks.

•     Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals at all levels of the agency.

•     Coping skills, such as flexibility in dealing with issues typical to a social service setting.

•     Ability to meet job performance measures with minimal direct supervision and guidance.

•     Knowledge of regulatory and legislative standards related to services provided by the agency.

•     Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

•     Proficient personal and office computer skills including MS365, email, word processing, basic spreadsheets, internet.
