## Project Overview:

Bechtel’s Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) Business Unit is designing, building and commissioning a semiconductor fab in Clay, NY. ## Job Summary:

In this role, you will perform night shift field engineering activities for work planning and packaging (AWP), material management, quantity validation, safety, quality control, technical inspection and testing, and coordination of system turnover. Your work will help ensure assigned field activities are planned, executed, accurately documented, and completed in accordance with quality standards, project requirements, and construction priorities. #LI-LM1

## Major Responsibilities:

- Performs night shift field engineering planning, work package development, and daily coordination with the Project Field Engineer, supervision, and job-site operating sections.
- Monitors field progress, verifies installed quantities, supports forecasting and reporting, and resolves routine execution issues within assigned work areas.
- Prepares, reviews, and maintains construction engineering documentation, reports, field records, material coordination items, and requisition support for assigned scopes.
- Performs field walkdowns, supports constructability reviews, identifies technical or execution constraints, and recommends solutions or escalation paths for assigned work areas.
- Promotes safe night shift work practices and coordinates with subcontractors, quality, safety, construction, and turnover personnel to support inspection readiness, issue resolution, and system turnover.

## Education and Experience Requirements:

- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

## Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Applies thorough working knowledge of field engineering practices, construction execution, work packaging, quantity tracking, quality requirements, and project procedures.
- Interprets project specifications, codes, drawings, inspection requirements, hold points, and technical documentation needed to support right-first-time installation.
- Coordinates field inspections, test readiness, nonconformance documentation, corrective action follow-up, and quality verification activities for assigned work packages.
- Maintains and reviews accurate field records, test results, as-built information, turnover documentation, and other required records for assigned scopes.
- Communicates technical issues clearly, escalates risks or constraints in a timely manner, and works effectively across construction, safety, quality, subcontractor, and turnover teams to support night shift priorities.
