Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with ASC 842 and corporate accounting policies by accurately accounting for and reporting operating and finance leases across the companys lease portfolio.
- Maintain and monitor lease accounting system data, ensuring new leases, modifications, renewals, impairments, and terminations are captured, evaluated, and recorded accurately and on time.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to review and evaluate lease contracts and amendments, determine the appropriate accounting treatment, and document conclusions in line with GAAP.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial schedules and detailed analyses to support management reporting and external financial reporting, frequently presenting results and insights to Senior Accounting and Finance leadership.
- Oversee and review recurring accounting activities performed by offshore team members, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies.
- Drive efficiencies by supporting and participating in continuous improvement initiatives, including the design and implementation of automation and AI tools to streamline accounting and reporting processes.
- Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by external auditors, including preparing client-prepared schedules, supporting SOX 404 testing, and coordinating activities related to the annual audit for lease-related areas.
- Participate in special projects, including separation-related initiatives, process redesign efforts, and public company readiness activities, demonstrating agility in an evolving environment.
- Perform the monthly financial close process for vendor incentives by preparing detailed analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries in accordance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
- Work closely with Financial Shared Services, FP&A, Operations, Supplier Finance, and offshore team members to ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of vendor incentive and buyside accounting information.
- Prepare critical data sets and analyses for monthly reporting to Senior management, providing insight into vendor incentive performance and related financial results.
- Support vendor incentive-related internal controls, SOX compliance, and the external audit process by preparing required schedules, responding to auditor requests, and coordinating testing and documentation.
- Identify accounting issues related to vendor incentives, perform root cause analyses, and propose practical, data-driven solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform the monthly financial close process for payroll and benefits by preparing payroll-related analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries in accordance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies to ensure completeness and accuracy of payroll-related financial reporting.
- Partner closely with Payroll, Human Resources, Compensation & Benefits, Treasury, third-party payroll providers, and offshore team members to resolve accounting issues and support process improvements across payroll and benefits accounting.
- Ensure accurate accounting, reconciliation, and reporting of payroll-related transactions, employee compensation, payroll taxes, and related liabilities.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial schedules and analyses for payroll and benefits to support management reporting and external financial reporting, and present findings to Senior Accounting and Finance leaders.
- Support payroll-related internal controls, SOX compliance, and the external audit process, including preparation of client-prepared schedules, support for SOX 404 testing, and coordination of audit activities.
- Contribute to annual budget and forecast update processes by providing accurate, timely financial data and analyses for leases, vendor incentives, or payroll and benefits, as applicable.
