Accounting Specialist

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist who will play a critical role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. From accounts payable and receivable to reconciliations, billing, and month-end close activities, you'll be a key contributor to the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. What You'll Do

- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable , ensuring invoices, payments, and cash flow activities are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain the General Ledger , prepare and post journal entries, and support accurate financial reporting.
- Perform account reconciliations , including bank and credit card reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with billing, revenue recognition, and progress/FCO billing to ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing.
- Support month-end close by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain financial data within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper categorization.
- Prepare invoice support packages and customer billing documentation.
- Process payroll-related journal entries and assist with job costing activities.
- Track purchase orders and support expense management processes.
- Participate in financial reporting, process improvements, and special accounting projects.

What We're Looking For

- 2 + years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or related accounting experience.
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (Sage Intacct experience is a plus).
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Construction industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
