This role can be based in any of our locations in our three Hub Locations:

- Loveland, Colorado: The Target Pay Range for this position is $169,680- $212,000 annually.
- Fountain Valley, California: The Target Pay Range for this position is $173,720-$217,150 annually.
- New York City: The Target Pay Range for this position in is $177,760- $222,200 annually.

The Director, ERP is a strategic technology and business transformation leader responsible for the vision, governance, implementation, optimization, and ongoing operation of the organization's Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP ecosystem. The Director ERP will partner with executive and functional leaders to deliver scalable growth, global process standardization, reliable integrations, trusted data, and measurable business value.

The Director leads the complete Oracle Fusion implementation lifecycle, including systems integrator management, strategy, business process redesign, solution architecture, configuration and development, integrations, data migration, testing, organizational change, deployment, hypercare, and continuous improvement. The role builds and develops high-performing teams, oversees strategic implementation and managed-service partners, and ensures the ERP platform remains secure, compliant, resilient, and aligned with enterprise priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Own the enterprise Oracle Fusion ERP strategy, multiyear roadmap, business case, investment plan, benefits realization framework, and measurable success outcomes.
- Lead end-to-end support and enhancements across relevant Oracle Fusion modules, including Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Inventory, Manufacturing, Planning, Projects, EPM, and related enterprise capabilities.
- Establish program governance and decision rights; lead steering committee forums and provide transparent executive reporting on scope, schedule, budget, value, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, and R&D leaders to redesign and standardize processes using Oracle leading practices while managing justified business exceptions.
- Direct solution architecture, configuration, extensions, security design, integrations, environments, release management, and quarterly Oracle update readiness across Oracle Fusion, OIC, and OCI resources.
- Ensure effective integration with CRM, LIMS, HRIS, banking, tax, logistics, e-commerce, data platforms, and other upstream and downstream enterprise systems.
- Own the ERP data strategy, including migration governance, reconciliation, data quality, retention, reporting, and controls.
- Align with Data Governance team to define master data management for ERP data domains.
- Lead testing strategy and quality management across unit, system integration, end-to-end business process, performance, security, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Drive organizational change management, communications, training, role readiness, adoption measurement, and post-go-live reinforcement in partnership with business leaders.
- Maintain platform performance, availability, access controls, segregation of duties, audit readiness, disaster recovery, and compliance with applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build, lead, coach, and retain ERP product, functional, technical, integration, data, and support teams; establish clear accountabilities, goals, capacity plans, and development pathways.
- Manage system integrators, Oracle, consultants, and managed service providers, including sourcing, contracts, statements of work, deliverables, SLAs, SLOs, financial performance, and corrective actions.
- Operate a disciplined demand, portfolio, release, incident, problem, and change management model; prioritize enhancements based on value, risk, capacity, and architectural fit.
- Lead stabilization, hypercare, and continuous improvement after deployment, reducing manual work, technical debt, defects, and process cycle times.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in ERP, enterprise applications, technology delivery, or digital transformation, including 7+ years leading teams or major programs.
- 5+ years of hands-on leadership experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementations and production operations.
- Demonstrated leadership of at least one enterprise-scale Oracle Fusion implementation through planning, design, build, testing, deployment, hypercare, and stabilization; two or more full lifecycle implementations strongly preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional transformation across Finance and Supply Chain, with working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, Procurement, SCM, and EPM capabilities.
- Proven accountability for multimillion-dollar budgets, integrated program plans, executive governance, business outcomes, and third-party delivery.
- Experience with global process design, data migration and reconciliation, enterprise integrations, security and controls, testing, change management, and production support.
- Strong vendor leadership experience managing system integrators and MSPs through contracts, SOWs, milestones, quality measures, SLAs, SLOs, and commercial negotiations.
- Executive-level communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technology and program issues into clear business decisions, tradeoffs, and actions.

Preferred

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Oracle Cloud certification in one or more relevant ERP, SCM, EPM, OIC, OCI, security, or architecture domains.
- Experience with global or multi-country deployments and regulated, healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, manufacturing, or veterinary industry environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Executive presence, business acumen, and the ability to influence senior leaders and resolve cross-functional decisions.
- Expertise in ERP operating models, transformation governance, portfolio prioritization, benefits realization, financial stewardship, and enterprise risk management.
- Ability to build accountable teams, develop leaders, manage organizational capacity, and create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP concepts and leading practices, particularly Financials, Procurement, SCM, and EPM.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, APIs, middleware, extensions, environments, quarterly updates, and SaaS lifecycle management.
- Ability to govern enterprise architecture, integration patterns, nonfunctional requirements, technical debt, and build-versus-buy decisions.
- Advanced program leadership across scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, dependencies, risk, testing, cutover, hypercare, and stabilization.
- Strong organizational change management capabilities, including stakeholder analysis, communications, training, readiness, adoption, and reinforcement.
- Sound judgment under pressure, disciplined escalation, structured problem solving, and decisive issue resolution.
- Data migration, reconciliation, master data, data quality, reporting, analytics, and governance expertise.
- Understanding of role-based security, segregation of duties, audit controls, privacy, compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Knowledge of IT service management, incident and problem management, change control, release management, service levels, and operational performance metrics.
- Exceptional written, verbal, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills for business, technical, and executive audiences.
- Customer-centric partnership style, with the ability to balance enterprise standards, business value, delivery constraints, and user experience.
- Passion for pets and understanding of the pet care industry is a plus.

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding.  The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.  The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment.  The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.  The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, and the Internet.  The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system.  The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
