Role Overview

The IT Asset Management Administrator will have responsibilities for the accuracy, completeness, and lifecycle governance of Cboe's entire IT asset base — including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and end-user computing (EUC) devices. This role works cross-functionally with Infrastructure, security, project teams, and vendor management to ensure assets are tracked and optimized from acquisition through retirement, and will have an extended focus on connecting asset data with the broader operational view of IT.

Your responsibilities will be:

- Maintain the inventory database of record for all IT assets (servers, storage, networking equipment, EUC devices), ensuring data is complete and current.
- Monitor the full lifecycle of IT assets - procurement, deployment, ongoing management, and disposal.
- Conduct regular data center audits of physical assets to verify inventory accuracy and confirm compliance with company policy.
- Manage secure onsite hardware disposal activities with both internal teams and external IT asset disposal vendors.
- Integrate existing IT asset management and configuration management practices to provide a complete view of IT operations and assets.
- Manage IT asset management tools, including the administration of network discovery scanning functionality.
- Strengthen and enforce asset management policies covering security, compliance, and risk management.
- Perform annual software license reconciliations to support compliance and cost optimization of vendor agreements.
- Partner with Infrastructure teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to support asset allocation for projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate IT hardware shipments globally between company locations.
- Produce regular reporting on asset utilization, performance metrics, and financial analysis of the IT infrastructure.
- Identify and drive process improvements in asset tracking, reporting, and lifecycle management.
- Report asset status and emerging issues clearly to senior management and relevant teams.
- Assist with regulatory exams by obtaining documentation and drafting responses to regulator inquiries.

- Perform additional activities as needed.

The ideal candidate has :

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.

- Proven experience in IT asset management, software asset management, configuration management or comparable field required.
- Strong understanding of IT platforms, infrastructure components, and asset management tools.
- Experience managing hardware and software assets at an enterprise level and/or high security environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments/projects simultaneously.

- Hands-on experience working in a data center environment, including physical asset audits and inventory reconciliation, asset tagging and barcode/RFID scanning, and rack and cabinet layout familiarity; comfort operating under data center access, safety, and change-management protocols.
- Certification preferred as a Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), and/or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).

Salary Ranges (applicable for US locations only)
At Cboe, we are committed to providing a competitive, transparent, and market‑informed total rewards program. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $107,525-$158,125, with actual compensation determined by job‑related factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal alignment, and location.

This role may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation and, where applicable, participation in Cboe's long-term equity programs.
