Overview Atlas Rental Property is one of the fastest-growing property management companies in the Southeast. We currently manage approximately 2,200 rental properties in North and Central Alabama as well as Chattanooga, Tennessee, with plans to continue expansion in new and adjacent markets. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to manage, coach, and develop our AR/Collections team.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
• Manage, coach, and develop the internal AR Team
• Handle hiring, training, disciplinary cadence, and terminations when necessary
Collections, Evictions & Legal Oversight
• Provide overall Collection Process Management and Oversight
• Oversee the eviction process, including managing setouts with local Sheriff’s offices and ensuring proper field execution
• Work with attorneys in all markets, process servers, virtual assistants and more, maintaining professional relationships and direct communication with judges, court clerks, and Sheriff's departments
Operations & Cross-Departmental Collaboration
• Manage the Application and Disposition Process
• Cultivate and manage strong team and vendor relations
• Work closely with the Investor Relations and Inspections team
Tenant Communications
• Oversee and handle escalated tenant communications
Role Requirements
• 3+ years of proven experience in a management-level role in AR/Collections
• College degree is preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with employees, attorneys, tenants, and vendors.
• Strong multitasking and organization skills
• Must be comfortable with traveling around the Birmingham area and visiting properties
Necessary Soft Skills
• Team work is essential in this role and a proven track record in this area is required
• Must have strong critical thinking/problem-solving skills
• Must have proven de-escalation experience to handle difficult situations effectively
Total Compensation
The compensation package for this role includes a base salary of $60,000-65,000 per year depending on experience, with potential for quarterly performance bonus (up to 20% over base) after six months in role. We offer a comprehensive benefits package with insurance and PTO accrual beginning on the first day. We offer paid parental leave and 401K with employer contribution after 1 year of service as well as 8 paid holidays per year.
