Automotive Technician
Pay: $18.00–$30.00 per hour
Full-Time | Apprentices Welcome
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team at Central City Toyota . We are open to experienced technicians as well as apprentices and entry-level candidates who are interested in learning the automotive trade and building a long-term career.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle problems
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, and exhaust repairs
- Perform oil changes, tire services, and preventative maintenance
- Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary repairs
- Use automotive diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools
- Follow proper repair procedures and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Complete quality repairs in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Previous automotive repair experience preferred
- Apprentices and entry-level technicians are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of automotive systems is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license preferred
- ASE certification is a plus, but not required
Pay & Opportunities
- $18.00–$30.00 per hour , depending on experience and skill level
