Infrastructure Designer

Job Title: Infrastructure Designer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Designer to join our team. This role involves creating and modifying multi-discipline 3D models, producing detailed construction documents, and integrating industrial systems within Revit models. Responsibilities

- Create and modify multi-discipline 3D models in Revit and produce 2D drawings such as floor plans, sections, and elevations.
- Incorporate piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), electrical drafting, and equipment into Revit models.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate design inputs and resolve conflicts.
- Ensure all models and drawings meet industry standards, safety protocols, and company guidelines.
- Produce renderings and visualizations for presentations and client reviews.
- Address design and technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills

- Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit 24+.
- Advanced skills in Navisworks.
- Advanced skills in Autodesk ACC.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge in Solidworks/Inventor for model conversions.
- Understanding of industrial building systems, process integration, and architectural requirements around egress, maintenance access, and required equipment clearances.
- Experience in ductwork and pipe routing and supporting.
- Experience with vehicle travel path layouts.
- Knowledge of material handling systems.
- Experience in electrical and lighting modeling and plans.
- Ability to work across multiple disciplines and subcontractors to integrate facility designs.
- Experience in cross-discipline teams and design-build deliverables.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience with Revit.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial facilities design.
- Experience with large-diameter ductwork, compressed air systems, material handling/conveying, and P&IDs.
- Industrial background preferred.

Work Environment This position is primarily in-office, but there is potential for flexibility regarding hybrid or remote work arrangements.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
