Are you a person who enjoys figuring out how systems work, solving complex technical problems, and helping others get the most out of technology? Do you like having a hand in everything from databases and servers to user support, cybersecurity, and system improvements?

Roseman University is looking for an experienced Information Systems Technician to join our Technology Services team. In this role, you'll support the technology that keeps our university running, from student information and financial aid systems to institutional databases and enterprise applications. You'll work behind the scenes and on the front lines, helping students, faculty, and staff leverage technology to achieve their goals.

What You'll Do

1. Keep Critical Systems Running

- Support and maintain university information systems, including Student, Finance, Financial Aid, Advancement, and Patient systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, database, network, and printing issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on servers, SQL databases, and enterprise applications.
- Support technology devices associated with university systems, including printers, imaging devices, and signature pads.

2. Build, Improve & Support Technology Solutions

- Configure and support application and SQL database servers.
- Design and develop custom reports to help departments make informed decisions.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to improve system functionality and efficiency.
- Assist with testing, documentation, system upgrades, and implementation projects.

3. Train & Support the Roseman Community

- Provide technical support and guidance to students, faculty, staff, and residents.
- Help users understand and effectively utilize university technology resources.
- Lead system training sessions and orientations for new and existing users.
- Communicate system updates, enhancements, and best practices.

4. Strengthen Security & Operational Excellence

- Support university security applications, access controls, system configurations, and third-party integrations to help protect institutional data and technology resources.
- Support technology lifecycle and change management initiatives.
- Document processes, procedures, and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with departments across the university to ensure technology effectively supports institutional goals.

What You’ll Bring

- High school diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience supporting information systems, hardware, networking, and security, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications such as A+, Server+, Security+, or equivalent experience required.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service skills.

- Experience supporting enterprise applications and integrated information systems.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL and database administration required.
- Experience in a higher education and/or clinical environment preferred.

Salary range: $60,000 - $62,000
