We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer who is passionate about complex multidisciplinary rail projects and enjoys solving problems and finding solutions that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Your role
- Lead systems integration activities during the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Lead and facilitate working groups and interface workshops.
- Develop interface requirements documentation and interact with the Requirements Management and Validation & Verification (V&V) disciplines.
- Ensure effective interaction with: Customers and stakeholders.
- Design management and technical disciplines.
- Construction management and delivery teams.
- Operations and maintenance teams.
- System safety and security disciplines.
- Support construction and installation activities in the field.
- Support testing and commissioning activities.
About you
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent and is a member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Holds or is interested in obtaining a CAMP or PMP certification (considered an asset).
- Has experience developing, documenting, and validating systems integration activities throughout the lifecycle of an asset or project.
- Has experience in light rail transit, subway, or commuter rail systems, with specific expertise in systems integration.
- Has strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and the EN 15288 standard, as well as knowledge of CENELEC standards and processes.
- Possesses knowledge of engineering and systems integration practices and processes, with practical experience implementing them.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint.
- Able to lead discussions with partners, customers, and suppliers, and interact with technical experts in a delivery management capacity.
- Demonstrates excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to present to audiences of industry experts.
