ROLE SUMMARY:

International School of Querétaro (ISQ), an Inspired Education school, was founded in 1999 with a constructivist–humanist pedagogical philosophy. We are seeking an IT Assistant to support the day-to-day technology needs of International School of Querétaro. The role will provide technical and user support, assist with systems administration and troubleshooting, configure and maintain technology equipment, manage IT inventory and equipment loans, and support relationships with technology vendors. The IT Assistant will also provide administrative support to the Systems Department, helping ensure effective and reliable technology services across the school.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide timely technical support to users, responding to day-to-day technology issues and requests.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to systems, devices, and technology equipment.

- Set up, configure, and prepare technological equipment for users.

- Support the administration and day-to-day operation of school systems and technology resources.

- Manage equipment loans, ensuring appropriate tracking, assignment, and return of devices.

- Maintain accurate IT warehouse and inventory records, including available and assigned equipment.

- Support the organization, control, and appropriate storage of technology equipment and assets.

- Manage day-to-day relationships and coordination with IT and technology vendors.

- Follow up with external vendors regarding technology services, equipment, and support requirements.

- Perform administrative tasks related to the Systems Department and maintain accurate departmental records.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Previous experience in IT technical support, user support, or a similar technology-related role.

- Experience with systems administration and supporting day-to-day technology operations.

- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Experience setting up and configuring computers and other technological equipment.

- Experience managing technology equipment, inventories, and equipment loans.

- Experience coordinating or managing relationships with technology vendors.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when maintaining inventory and administrative records.

- A service-oriented approach with the ability to provide timely and effective support to users.

- Ability to manage multiple technical and administrative tasks and prioritize requests effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with users, colleagues, and external vendors.
