Position Description
As an Intern, you’ll be part of a team committed to protecting people and improving workplace safety.
Position Details
This is a full-time internship position based in Lindsay, NE (May – August 2027).
Limited travel may be required.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Hazard and Risk Assessment of existing and new process
- Participation in Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) verification and development
- Participation in Shop Floor safety audits and observations
- Participation in incident investigations and root cause analysis
Qualifications
- Student pursing degrees in Occupational Safety, Environment, Health & Safety, or related fields
- Organizational skills and attention to details
- Strong inter-personal communication skills and wiliness to learn
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Interest in making the workplace safer and more efficient

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to acclimate to various weather conditions in an indoor/outdoor work environment
- Standard Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility to accommodate academic commitments
