Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Analyst to join our Production and Supply Chain team. In this role, you will act as a pivotal operational link across Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Accounting to ensure seamless material flow, accurate inventory records, and timely order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate blends strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on administrative diligence, leveraging ERP systems and Excel to optimize purchasing, inventory accuracy, and production scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Order Administration

Convert purchase requests into standard purchase orders (POs) and issue them to suppliers in accordance with specified cost, quality, and delivery benchmarks.

Actively follow up with vendors on delivery dates, lead times, and order confirmations; update internal tracking systems and ERP records accordingly.

Reconcile order confirmations against issued POs to resolve discrepancies in pricing, terms, or quantities.

Monitor open, overdue, and back-ordered items, producing regular shortage reports and coordinating expedited shipments when necessary.

Inventory & Material Control

Support strict material control processes to meet company targets for stock accuracy, scrap reduction, and inventory turns.

Perform stock rotation monitoring and process inventory adjustments through the ERP system.

Participate in cycle counts, routine physical inventory audits, and variance investigations.

Production & Operations Support

Accurately log daily production metrics and scrap figures into the ERP system.

Assist in generating and updating work orders, adjusting production run dates as scheduling demands shift.

Interface with the Quality Assurance team to assist with incoming product testing, quality verification, and non-conformance documentation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Build and maintain productive working relationships with external vendors and freight carriers.

Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Accounting to resolve receipt variances, invoice holds, or scheduling conflicts.

Support ongoing process improvement initiatives and perform related operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory control, or production planning—preferably within a manufacturing or order processing environment.

Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, data filtering) and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.

ERP Experience: Hands-on experience working within an enterprise resource planning (ERP) or warehouse/inventory management system.

Attention to Detail: Proven track record of high-accuracy data entry, recordkeeping, and discrepancy reconciliation.

Communication & Teamwork: Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident collaborating across cross-functional departments and with external vendors.

Work Ethic: Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization abilities; dependable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience with industrial consumables, media products, or light converting/manufacturing.
