Job Responsibilities

- Support the Director of Outlets in overseeing day-to-day food and beverage operations throughout the resort, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, side work, POS procedures, and shift execution.

- Maintain a visible presence during operating hours to monitor service, support staff, and address operational needs.

- Ensure food and beverage outlets consistently meet Reunion Resort standards for service, cleanliness, presentation, safety, and guest experience.

- Conduct and/or participate in pre-shift meetings to communicate business levels, specials, events, service expectations, and operational priorities.

- Monitor guest and member experiences and promptly address concerns to achieve appropriate service recovery.

- Monitor staffing and labor throughout the shift and make appropriate adjustments based on business volume.

- Ensure new and existing ACES are properly trained on service standards, menu knowledge, responsible alcohol service, POS procedures, sanitation, and applicable departmental procedures.

- Promote a positive, professional, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, departmental procedures, attendance expectations, and uniform and grooming standards.

- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, portioning, and consistency in partnership with culinary leadership.

- Assist with inventory management, product controls, ordering, receiving, and proper storage as assigned.

- Ensure all financial transactions, POS activity, comps, discounts, and closing procedures are completed accurately and in accordance with resort policies.

- Maintain knowledge of menus, beverage offerings, promotions, resort activities, special events, and other information necessary to effectively support guests and ACES.

- Assist with special events, holidays, high-volume periods, and other resort activities requiring food and beverage support.

- Complete reports, administrative responsibilities, and other documentation accurately and timely.

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Outlets.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive food and beverage experience, preferably within a resort, hotel, private club, or high-volume hospitality environment preferred.

- Degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

- Ability to effectively lead employees and maintain positive working relationships across multiple departments.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to handle guest and member concerns professionally and make sound service-recovery decisions.

- Understanding of food and beverage financial performance, including labor costs, cost of goods, inventory, waste, revenue, and other operating expenses.

- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications; experience with hospitality management systems preferred.

- Food safety certification required or ability to obtain certification within the timeframe established by the resort.

- Responsible alcohol service certification required or ability to obtain certification as required.

- Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.

- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor food and beverage environments.

- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift items associated with food and beverage operations.

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment that may include exposure to heat, cold, noise, and varying weather conditions.
