Looking for a rewarding way to earn extra income while helping others build confidence in the water? HealthFitness is seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join the Aquatics Team at our vibrant community client site in West Hartford, Connecticut .

This part-time opportunity (10-15 hours per week) is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with swimmers of all ages and abilities in a supportive, team-oriented environment. You'll have the chance to make a positive impact while sharing your passion for swimming and water safety.

Responsible for providing effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons. Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.

Minimum Requirements

- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
- Must have a strong swim background.
- Proficiency in all swim strokes.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $16 - $17.75/hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
