## Position Overview

The Solutions Administrator I – IT Solution provides foundational technical administration and operational support for our core business applications. This individual helps maintain system stability and performance by providing rotational on-call support, triaging user incidents, and assisting senior team members in isolating basic application and API integration errors.

Beyond daily support operations, they will assist senior team members and business users with requirements gathering and testing for new system enhancements. They will execute assigned project tasks, support/implement larger initiatives, and maintain operational documentation across Agile and Waterfall frameworks. As a core member of the team, this individual will actively collaborate with colleagues to foster a highly productive and supportive environment.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort’s policies, practices, and procedures.

## Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Provide foundational technical administration and Tier-1/Tier-2 support across The Venetian Resort Las Vegas enterprise application suite, triaging user incidents, executing routine maintenance, and ensuring day-to-day operational stability.
- Assist in investigating application behavior and system alerts to identify operational issues, gathering logs and diagnostic data to isolate core application faults and API interface errors.
- Execute technical tasks, minor enhancements, and short-duration assignments (typically 1 to 3 months) while contributing as a project resource on enterprise-wide implementations within both Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
- Build and maintain support documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles to enhance team operational readiness and expedite incident resolution.
- Collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, and application vendors to test software patches, validate bug fixes, and verify new feature releases prior to production deployment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with end users, departmental managers, IT colleagues, and technical vendors.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset, keen attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to following technical procedures and operational checklists.
- Dedicated customer service orientation with a commitment to responsive communication, ticket ownership, and adherence to established IT service management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, learn new software systems quickly, and balance daily operational requests in a fast-paced, 24/7 resort and gaming environment.
- Identify, report, and appropriately escalate information security concerns, vulnerabilities, and potential compliance issues in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain consistent, regular attendance and actively participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call support schedule (including evenings, weekends, and holidays) as an essential function of the role.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

## Minimum Qualifications

- 21 years of age.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- Leverage 1+ years of IT experience to manage and support enterprise applications, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance across environments while driving enhancements, integrations, and deployments through established processes and best practices.
- Proven ability to interpret application architecture diagrams (e.g., interfaces, hardware, messaging) to effectively troubleshoot systems and diagnose issues.
- Solid understanding of server and system administration fundamentals, with ability to guide resolution of complex technical issues.
- Proficiency with core support tools and methodologies, including RDP, VPN, and data/code analysis for root cause identification.
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL-based operations, with preference for certifications in Incident and Event Management; ability to drive process adherence and continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
