Reporting to the National Sales Manager and based at either Laverton or Melbourne CBD , you will be responsible for maximising sales and profitability across the Austube Mills tubular and InfraBuild merchant bar product ranges. Managing an established portfolio of distributor and wholesale customers across Victoria and Tasmania, you will focus on growing existing relationships while identifying new opportunities within the fabricator, manufacturing and end-user markets.

What you will be doing:

- Manage and grow a portfolio of distributor and wholesale customer accounts across Victoria and Tasmania

- Identify and secure new business opportunities to increase market share across key sectors

- Develop customer-specific sales strategies to maximise revenue and profitability

- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial outcomes and manage pricing activities

- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities

- Use sales data, forecasts and market insights to support business decisions and achieve territory targets

This role includes regular customer visits across metropolitan and regional Victoria, and periodic travel to Tasmania.

What you will bring:

- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the steel, construction or manufacturing sectors

- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in negotiating and securing deals

- Ability to develop and implement tactical sales plans to deliver against business objectives

- Demonstrated ability to work independently while achieving team goals

- Current driver’s license

- Exposure to technical or engineered products, or an engineering/metallurgy background, will be highly regarded
