About the role
Carrier has an opening for an experienced Control Algorithm Engineer based in Shanghai, China. The team is responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art dynamic modeling and controls tool that are used by global engineering centers for Carrier’s air-conditioning and refrigeration system design and controller development.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Control Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Provide expertise in Fundamental analytical skills on control theory
- Lead Control algorithm development, control system architecture design and controller verification process like Model-in-the-Loop (MiL), Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) processes
- Participate in global multidisciplinary projects, ensuring on-time and high quality deliverables
- Other work items arranged by supervisor
Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
- MS or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical or Control Engineering with 0+ year experience.
- Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills.
- Fundamental analytical skills on control theory
- Hands on experience of control system development
