About this role
We currently have an opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator. Join our Project Polaris team and play a key role in maintaining a competitive, reliable and cost-effective supply chain for essential service delivery. Reporting to the Project Operations Transition Manager, you’ll coordinate Service Delivery Partner engagement, procurement activities and contract administration to support high-quality outcomes.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Coordinate Service Delivery Partner onboarding, documentation, system activation and compliance requirements, including licences, insurance, certifications and clearances.
- Manage day-to-day procurement administration, supplier records, work orders, vendor payment enquiries and procure-to-pay communications.
- Compare supplier rates, coordinate Best and Final Offer requests and maintain clear records to support competitive, transparent procurement decisions.
- Maintain accurate procurement databases and deliver weekly and monthly reporting on supplier performance, licensing, capacity, diversity and compliance.
- Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, service partners and project teams while identifying process improvements and business efficiencies.
What You'll Bring
- A high school certificate or tertiary qualification, together with 3+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain-related roles.
- Strong administration skills, with experience managing documentation, workflows, supplier information and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, contract administration and relevant operational or financial systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, sound judgement and a professional, ethical approach to decision-making.
