We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director , Corporate Sales, Markets & Securities Services (GCB4)

HSBC’s Markets & Securities Services is responsible for the provision of multi-product coverage of Korea and international Corporate clients including local large corporates, sovereign, multi-national clients and medium-cap corporates across multiple products.

Taking on the role of Associate Director Corporate Sales with a cross-asset focus, you will support corporate clients with origination, structuring and execution of risk management and financing solutions. As a senior sales person in the team, you will be responsible to service group’s Strategic & Focus clients, addressing needs through the provision of client relevant products, solutions and deep market insight. This role requires strong client experience in order to develop long lasting trusted relationships whilst improving product penetration and wallet share.

Working closely with structuring and trading teams, you will help deliver FX, Option, Rates and balance sheet solutions tailored to clients’ treasury objectives, including hedging, funding, liquidity and cross-border risk management, to contribute to solidify the bank’s position as a market leader in Korea

[Key Responsibilities]

- Identify sales opportunities that address specific needs for our clients and managing from identification to point of sale and through post trade process

- Service a portfolio of Strategic and/or Focus clients, including Transactional clients where required

- Drive efficiency and profitability by championing adoption and use of relevant service offerings to meet client needs, for example migrating transactional business to the self-service e-capability, coordinating with internal intelligence teams for more complex balance sheet structuring solutions, or identifying further opportunities for the offshore capability to support Corporate Sales

- Identify and originate cross-asset and outbound opportunities

- Contribute to team development, effectiveness and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse, and supportive working environment.

- Assist clients in effectively communicating their banking/investment requirements to internal stakeholders including Trading, Operations, Relationship Managers, and other product partners etc.

[Knowledge and Experience]

- 5-10 years Corporate Sales experience in banking industry

- Certified Derivatives Investment Advisor is mandatory

- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to originate, structure and execute risk management and financing solutions

- Strong understanding of the overall Markets business and cross-asset products, clients demand, and key progress on pertinent regulation and/or industry frameworks.

- Clear, concise presentation and communication skills are required

- Require working as a team in a collaborative and adaptable manner

- Fluent in English and Korean (verbally and written)
