## Job Summary




Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Chief of Staff, Global Supply Chain located in Austin, Tx .

Reporting to the VP, SIOP the Chief of Staff, Global Supply Chain role dvances the organization's highest-priority initiatives by translating strategic objectives into clear plans, operating rhythms, decisions, and measurable outcomes. The position connects leaders and teams across the enterprise, strengthens accountability, and ensures critical priorities move forward with speed, discipline, and visibility.

Operating as an extension of the Global Supply Chain Leader, the Chief of Staff will manage a portfolio of complex, cross-functional initiatives; coordinate leadership governance; prepare executive-level insights and communications; and remove barriers that could delay execution. The ideal candidate combines strong business judgment, project leadership, executive presence, and the ability to influence without direct authority.

What a typical day looks like:

Strategic Planning and Execution

·       Partner with the Global Supply Chain Leader and leadership team to translate organizational priorities into actionable roadmaps, milestones, ownership, and success measures.

·       Lead or coordinate high-impact strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and special projects that span functions, regions, and business units.

·       Monitor progress, surface risks and dependencies, and drive timely resolution or escalation of issues that could affect outcomes.

·       Provide structured analysis and recommendations to support prioritization, resource decisions, and executive decision-making.

Leadership Operating Rhythm and Governance

·       Design and manage the operating cadence for the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team, including staff meetings, strategy reviews, business reviews, and planning sessions.

·       Develop agendas, pre-reads, decision materials, executive presentations, dashboards, and action trackers.

·       Capture key decisions, assign clear ownership, and ensure disciplined follow-through on commitments and deliverables.

·       Coordinate annual and quarterly planning activities and maintain alignment between strategic priorities and ongoing execution.

Cross-Functional Alignment and Stakeholder Engagement

·       Serve as a central point of coordination across Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Communications.

·       Build productive relationships with senior leaders and functional partners to align objectives, resolve competing priorities, and accelerate execution.

·       Facilitate complex discussions, clarify decision rights, and ensure stakeholders have the information required to act.

·       Represent the Global Supply Chain Leader in selected forums and working sessions, as appropriate.

Program Management and Organizational Effectiveness

·       Establish fit-for-purpose program governance, workplans, risk management, reporting, and change management for priority initiatives.

·       Create transparency through concise status reporting, performance indicators, and executive-level insights.

·       Identify opportunities to improve processes, simplify ways of working, and strengthen execution discipline across the organization.

·       Leverage digital, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, visibility, and decision speed.

Executive Communications and Special Projects

·       Prepare leadership communications, organizational updates, talking points, presentations, and other executive content.

·       Synthesize complex information into clear, concise narratives and recommendations for senior audiences.

·       Lead confidential or time-sensitive assignments requiring discretion, sound judgment, and close coordination with senior stakeholders.

·       Anticipate business needs and proactively address gaps that may affect leadership effectiveness or organizational performance.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

·       Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

·       8+ years of progressive experience in project or program management, strategy, supply chain, operations, transformation, consulting, or a related discipline.

·       Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a global or matrixed organization.

·       Experience partnering with senior executives and preparing materials for executive decision-making.

·       Supply chain, manufacturing, operations, procurement, or technology industry experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·       Strategic thinker with a strong bias for action and the ability to move fluidly between enterprise-level priorities and detailed execution.

·       Advanced program management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

·       Exceptional written, verbal, and executive presentation capabilities.

·       Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data, identify implications, and frame decisions.

·       Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across diverse stakeholders.

·       High degree of judgment, discretion, integrity, and comfort handling confidential information.

·       Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.

·       Proficiency with Microsoft 365, data visualization, collaboration, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
