The Government Affairs Champ will support the planning, execution, and tracking of strategic activities within Ford of Mexico’s Government Affairs function. Over the 12-month Ford Champs Program , university students gain hands-on, career-specific experience, explore different business areas, strengthen their professional capabilities, and prepare for future full-time opportunities at Ford.

In this role, the Champ will follow up on and manage operational and regulatory processes related to REPUVE (the Public Vehicle Registry) , maintain databases of institutional authorities, track regulatory and economic trends, and support the integration of artificial intelligence and data-driven solutions for the department. The role also includes creating executive presentations and digital materials, translating documents, and coordinating institutional engagements.

You'll have...

- Education: Currently enrolled in the final semesters of a bachelor’s degree program in international relations, political science, public administration, economics, law, foreign trade, international business, business administration, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: This is an early-career student opportunity; relevant coursework, projects, or practical experience are welcome.
- Languages: Strong working proficiency in both English and Spanish, including the ability to read, write, speak, and summarize information in both languages.
- Research and analysis : Ability to find, organize, and interpret information such as economic data, industry indicators, and regulatory documents, then communicate key points clearly.
- Communication and collaboration: Clear written and verbal communication, curiosity, initiative, and willingness to work with people across different teams.
- Presentation and digital tools: Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, or similar tools, and interest in using artificial intelligence or workflow automation to support research and everyday tasks.
- Government and policy interest: Coursework or a basic understanding of public policy, government processes, or administrative frameworks in Mexico is helpful.

Availability to work under a hybrid schedule at the corporate office Job Base Location - GTBC (Lomas Verdes, Naucalpan de Juarez - Estado de México)
