What You’ll Be Doing
As a caregiver, you'll provide hands-on assistance and companionship based on each client's individual needs and established care plan. Responsibilities may include:
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs
• Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assisting with walking, mobility, and everyday routines
• Encouraging clients to remain active and engaged
• Providing reminders and general support throughout the day
• Following individualized care plans and client instructions
• Communicating changes, concerns, or important updates to the office
• Accurately documenting care and services provided

Your role goes beyond completing a checklist. You'll help create an environment where clients feel safe, respected, supported, and empowered to maintain their independence.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who bring more than just experience to the role. Successful caregivers are:

• Comfortable working one-on-one with clients in their homes
• Able to work independently while following an established care plan
• Flexible and willing to travel between client locations

Experience
At least 1 year of caregiving experience is preferred.
Experience in any of the following is highly valued:
• Home care
• Private-duty care
• Caregiving
• CNA
• HHA
• Other professional caregiving settings

Previous experience is valued but not required for the right candidate.
Requirements
Candidates must have:
• Reliable personal transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Our caregivers serve clients throughout the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, including:
Schaumburg • Hoffman Estates • Palatine • Rolling Meadows • Elk Grove Village • Des Plaines • Park Ridge • Surrounding Areas
Please note: The location displayed with this position represents one of the communities we serve. It is not necessarily our office location and is not the only area where you may be assigned to work.
Caregivers must be comfortable traveling to other communities within our service area based on client needs and available assignments.

Commute Consideration: Our clients are located throughout the Northwest Suburbs, and caregivers are expected to travel to client locations. If you live 1 hour or more from our service area, please consider the commute carefully before applying, as the distance may not be a good fit for this position.
