As a Legal Counsel at Creative Clicks, you will be responsible for the European and international law and compliance for the Creative Clicks group in various countries. You will report directly to the legal counsel and will be part of the team located in the Amsterdam office. You will have a hands-on key role in supporting on a variety of legal topics and will work together with various stakeholders within Creative Clicks in a dynamic and energetic environment.

Key responsibilities:

- Responsible for Creative Clicks group compliance with European and international law
- Working with European and international data protection laws (e.g. GDPR, US Telephone Consumer Protection Act…)
- Drafting and reviewing company policies
- Drafting, reviewing, managing and negotiating contracts
- Developing a process to improve our workflow
- Support in legal cases and claims
- Being a source of information in the legal area for internal teams such as product teams, finance, development team, payments team and other stakeholders
- Reviewing the impact of new business initiatives from a broad legal perspective
- Staying up to date with legislative changes and, if needed, in charge of providing recommendations to internal teams and the further implementation to ensure compliance

Requirements

Who are you:

- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the field of European and international law
- Knowledge and understanding of company law and corporate structure
- Prior knowledge or understanding of affiliate marketing and online advertising is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- Ability to translate complex legal topics in an understandable manner to various stakeholders
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and structured with attention to detail
- Well organized and good with handling multiple projects
- Ability to work independently and in group settings
- Ability to work in a dynamic, international environment
- Enthusiastic and positive thinking
- Flexible hybrid system – at least 3 days per week in the office
