About the Role:
The ideal candidate is responsible for analyzing, developing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise and web-based applications. The position is expected to work independently, contribute as a subject matter expert, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify issues and deliver effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work independently and develop into a subject matter expert (SME) in assigned systems and technologies.
- Actively participate in team discussions and contribute technical insights and solutions to work-related challenges.
- Gather and analyze user requirements and translate them into clear application specifications.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain application and web-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system behavior, investigate issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex application and system issues.
- Analyze application logs, system metrics, and other technical data to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
- Document technical findings, resolutions, and processes to establish and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
- Support application lifecycle management and established system support processes.
- Assist with the implementation of system updates, patches, and enhancements to improve application stability and performance.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they affect users.
- Contribute to quality assurance activities throughout the application development and implementation lifecycle.
- Support project management activities and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of assigned initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE).
- At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis, system design, including database design, development, implementation, and quality assurance for System Analyst-level responsibilities.
- At least 3 years of experience in application development, programming, and system support for Analyst Programmer-level responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and design patterns.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex software systems.
- Familiarity with application lifecycle management and application support processes.
- Ability to analyze logs and system metrics to effectively identify and diagnose technical issues.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Good to Have Qualifications:
- Experience with Java Standard Edition (Java SE).
- Experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and enterprise application environments.
