Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.

We’re recruiting for four Project Management office (PMO) Industrial Placements in London.

Taking on a real job at a junior level, you'll have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experience under the guidance of highly skilled and experienced colleagues.

What you'll be doing

As a PMO Industrial Placement Student, you'll work alongside experienced project professionals and support the successful delivery of key programmes across the Sizewell C project.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Supporting project planning, scheduling and reporting activities.

- Assisting with the preparation of project dashboards, presentations and performance reports.

- Monitoring project milestones, risks, issues and actions.

- Supporting governance meetings and tracking key decisions.

- Analysing project data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Working with stakeholders across multiple project teams.

- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO function.

- Helping maintain project documentation and management systems.

This placement will provide exposure to project controls, programme management, risk management, governance and business performance reporting within a major infrastructure project.

Who we're looking for

We're interested in students who are:

- Currently studying for a degree in Project Management, Programme Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain/Logistics.

- Looking to complete a 12-month industrial placement as part of their degree.

- Strong communicators who can build effective working relationships.

- Organised, proactive and eager to learn.

- Comfortable analysing information and presenting findings.

- Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

- Interested in project delivery and major infrastructure programmes.
