About this role

Private Markets are a core pillar of Allianz Global Investors’ global strategy. As we continue to expand our client service offering worldwide, we are further strengthening our Private Markets presence across the globe.

To support this growth, we are looking for a new team member to join our Client Account Management Private Markets team at our Frankfurt office as soon as possible.

Your efforts will contribute to ensuring and continuously improving high-quality service for our institutional clients, while also helping to drive the continued success of our Private Markets platform. In this role, you will be part of a global team and collaborate closely with various stakeholders across Sales, Investment, and other internal departments.

What you will do

- Coordinate client onboarding for our Private Markets products, primarily for clients across EMEA, while also supporting clients globally.
- Handle client inquiries throughout the investment lifecycle, including reporting, capital calls, valuations, reviews, ad hoc requests, and account changes.
- Manage and continuously improve client servicing processes and related stakeholder interfaces.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including Legal, Portfolio Management, administrators, and other external partners on topics such as tax, fund and mandate structuring, and legal matters.
- Support Sales colleagues in client engagements, RFP responses, and participation in due diligence processes.
- Facilitate the launch of Private Markets products, ensuring alignment with clients' needs and expectations.
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

What you bring

- University degree or a professional qualification (e.g., CAIA, CFA, CEFA, etc.)
- Initial experience in asset management
- Depth knowledge of Private Markets
- Market- and Client-related Private Markets expertise preferred
- Knowledge in capital markets and portfolio management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness and ability to collaborate within a team
- Clear, concise, and confident communication in both German and English
- Proactive, self-driven working style with a high level of accountability
- High work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Strong problem-solving skills and solution-oriented thinking
- Knowledge and experience of Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot (or similar tools), and Machine Learning
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
