The Role:

Entegris is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to support our manufacturing operation in Reno, Nevada. In this working manager role, the Facilities Manager will lead a small facilities team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The position will work closely with Operations, Engineering, EHS, Quality, Purchasing, and external service providers to minimize equipment downtime and ensure facility activities are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

What You’ll Do:

Safety and Compliance

- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance with Entegris requirements and applicable regulations.
- Follow and reinforce safe work practices, including lockout/tagout, electrical safety, contractor safety, and other equipment-specific requirements.
- Hold contractors and service providers accountable for site safety requirements. Support the development and improvement of maintenance work instructions, safety procedures, and lockout/tagout documentation.
- Assist with inspections of building safety systems, including fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other facility safety equipment.
- Identify unsafe equipment or facility conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.

Team Leadership and Daily:

- Coordination Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, coaching, and technical support to one Facilities Technician.
- Establish daily and weekly priorities based on safety, production needs, preventive maintenance requirements, equipment condition, and available resources.
- Manage daily maintenance priorities for the Facilities Technician while balancing the manager’s own hands-on maintenance responsibilities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Monitor work progress and adjust assignments when production priorities or equipment conditions change. Communicate maintenance status, equipment risks, and work priorities to site leadership and affected departments. Support employee training, skill development, cross-training, and proficiency.
- Provide timely feedback and address performance or work-quality concerns through applicable company processes. Support reliable operation of facility systems that may include HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, process piping, pumps, motors, chillers, heaters, and related equipment.
- Work with Engineering and equipment suppliers when specialized troubleshooting or technical support is required. Use SAP as the site’s computerized maintenance management system to create assign, update, track, and close maintenance work.
- Use maintenance history and failure information to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure maintenance records are complete, accurate, and suitable for operational, quality, and compliance reviews. Support facility, manufacturing, equipment-installation, and capital-improvement projects.
- Work with the purchasing teams to assume ownership of site facilities agreements and contracts, including responsibilities related to security and badging.
- Responsible for supporting annual facilities operational planning and providing input for budget development.

What We Seek:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Facilities) or equivalent technical training and experience.
- 3-5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, engineering, construction, or a related technical environment.
- Hands-on experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, industrial facilities, and mechanical/electrical systems. Experience supporting industrial systems including HVAC, compressed air, process piping, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or controls systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team while actively performing maintenance work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

- Experience using SAP for maintenance planning, work order management, spare parts management, and equipment history tracking.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), NFPA 70E, contractor safety, and industrial safe work practices.
- Experience with root cause analysis, reliability-centered maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
