The Role:
Join our busy and supportive Hampshire Inspection and Advisory Service (HIAS) team as a School Improvement Senior Administrative Assistant , helping to deliver high-quality support to schools and education professionals across Hampshire.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll work closely with inspectors, advisers and colleagues, ensuring the smooth delivery of school improvement services and providing excellent support to schools and stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the School Improvement Team.
- Act as a key point of contact for schools, delivering excellent customer service by phone, email and in person.
- Maintain accurate records, data and documentation using a range of systems and databases.
- Support inspectors and advisers with the organisation and administration of school improvement activities.
- Assist with managing enquiries, reports and information to ensure services run efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a professional and responsive service to schools across Hampshire.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in an administrative and/or customer-focused environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and keyboard skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues, schools and stakeholders.
- Confidence working independently whilst contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative when required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
