What you will do

The Maintenance and Facilities Lead is responsible for prioritizing and coordinating maintenance activities, managing and developing your team, overseeing budgets and vendor evaluations, and ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of projects to meet business objectives:

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of maintenance and facilities operations to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and sustainability of equipment and infrastructure.

- Develop and implement innovative and strategic maintenance programs and plans that align with business objectives, enhance facility efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize cost efficiency.

- Drive the integration of smart building technologies, predictive analytics, and IoT solutions to optimize operational workflows, anticipate equipment failures, and reduce energy consumption.

- Manage, mentor, and develop high-performing maintenance teams, fostering professional growth, continuous learning, adherence to safety and quality standards, and adoption of cutting-edge industry practices.

- Oversee vendor partnerships by evaluating performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring delivery of advanced, high-quality maintenance services and materials within budget constraints.

- Champion safety, compliance, and operational excellence by pioneering and enforcing protocols, policies, and procedures that exceed regulatory standards and promote consistent regulatory adherence.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to design, coordinate, and implement eco-friendly facility upgrades and special projects that align with corporate social responsibility and organizational goals.

- Establish and control departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising operational effectiveness.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

- 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in maintenance and facilities management within a manufacturing environment.

- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving performance improvements.

- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, budgeting, and cost control practices.

- Experience with vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and procurement processes.

- In-depth understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing facilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders.

- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to optimize maintenance operations and resource allocation.

Desired Qualifications

- Proficiency in leveraging digital tools such as Building Management Systems (BMS), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and IoT platforms.

- Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for inspiring teams to embrace technological advancements and continuous improvement.

- Strong analytical mindset capable of interpreting data trends to drive predictive maintenance and operational efficiencies.
