- Perform simultaneous work avoidance (SWA) analysis to identify and prevent conflicting activities that could impact gas assets or system reliability.
- Review planned work for potential enhancements, identify risks, and stop work when conditions are unsafe or workers are unprepared, supporting overall risk mitigation efforts.
- Review, approve, and track all system events related to gas operations, ensuring that changes are properly documented and monitored.
- Communicate necessary changes and system events to appropriate internal and external stakeholders, including upstream suppliers, Gas Control, and field personnel, to maintain situational awareness.
- Apply specialized utility and industry knowledge and analysis tools to review concurrent work, supply positions, and real-time system conditions, and revise gas special instructions as needed.
- Independently evaluate and approve clearance requests and other assigned work, exercising sound judgment and discretion in a high-profile, fast-paced environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and external partners while generating meaningful metrics to measure the performance of all clearance center activities.
- Perform self-guided study and training as instructed to maintain up-to-date knowledge of gas operations, standards, and clearance procedures.
Essential Skills
- 02 years of relevant experience in project coordination, data entry, administrative support, or related fields.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret technical plans, processes, and procedures related to gas operations and clearances.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent clearance requests and system events.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with field personnel, Gas Control, upstream suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to perform duties effectively under emergency and contingency situations, maintaining composure and sound judgment under pressure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in the gas utility industry or natural gas operations.
- Experience manipulating and analyzing data in software applications such as Excel, Access, SCADA, Synergi, j5, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in a high-profile, fast-paced environment, particularly when approving or modifying clearance requests.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to make decisions among various alternatives under pressure while clearly communicating decisions to all stakeholders.
- Experience and knowledge of utility or industrial operations, including familiarity with gas standards and operational notices.
- Ability to use analytical tools to perform simultaneous work avoidance analysis and support audits and performance metrics.
