About the Role
As a Software Architect, you will define the technical vision and architecture for enterprise-scale applications. You will modernize legacy C++ modules into high-performance, cloud-native services using .NET technologies. You will establish engineering standards and guide the delivery of secure, scalable and reliable platforms. Your success will strengthen application performance, architectural consistency and engineering effectiveness.
Your key responsibilities
- Define technical vision, architectural blueprints and engineering roadmaps for enterprise-scale applications.Modernize legacy C++ modules into high-performance, cloud-native services using .NET technologies.
- Design robust APIs and integration layers connecting .NET applications with Java and Node.js microservices.Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns and security best practices across engineering teams.
- Conduct architecture assessments and detailed code reviews for mission-critical application components.Optimize system performance, scalability, reliability, resilience and cost efficiency.
- Mentor senior developers and engineers while promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement.Partner with engineering teams, product managers and executive stakeholders to guide technical decisions.
- Evaluate third-party tools, frameworks and cloud technologies to accelerate secure and sustainable delivery.
What you bring
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including three or more years in architecture or technical leadership.
- Deep expertise in modern C++, including memory management, multithreading and low-level performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in .NET Core, .NET 6 or later, C#, Web API and microservices architecture.
- Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and Angular frameworks for cross-technology integration. Demonstrated ability to design distributed, high-throughput, fault-tolerant enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.Proficiency with relational and NoSQL technologies, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three to five years of experience in fintech, banking, trading, payments or wealth management technology.
- Experience leading complex legacy modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture, domain-driven design and cloud-native engineering patterns.
- Experience communicating complex architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant cloud, software architecture or engineering certifications.
