Paint Technician/Paint Assistant
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–1:00 AM
Overtime: Mandatory overtime as needed
Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Paint Technician/Paint Assistant to support the Maintenance Manager with the daily operation and maintenance of our paint system. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment, using hand tools, and performing hands-on maintenance tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.
The Paint Technician / Paint Assistant will monitor the paint system, maintain proper paint levels, change machine filters, perform basic machine operation, and assist with general equipment maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with daily paint system operations and maintenance.
- Monitor paint levels and refill paint as needed.
- Change machine filters and perform routine equipment checks.
- Inspect equipment to ensure machines are operating properly.
- Assist with troubleshooting basic equipment issues.
- Operate machinery and paint system equipment as directed.
- Use basic hand tools to perform maintenance and support tasks.
- Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Previous experience in a maintenance, manufacturing, paint, production, or industrial environment is preferred.
- Machine operation experience is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime when required.
Work Environment
This is a dynamic, hands-on industrial position . The work environment can be dirty and may involve exposure to paint, equipment, dust, and other materials commonly found in a production and maintenance setting. Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet and performing physical, hands-on tasks throughout the workday.
