YOUR IMPACT:

As a Principal Consultant within OpenText Professional Services, you will play a key role in designing and delivering strategic, integrated digital solutions for enterprise clients using OpenText technologies. You will leverage your expertise in SAP ABAP, OpenText VIM, SAP business processes, and system integration to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, architects, developers, and project teams throughout the solution lifecycle. You will also provide technical guidance to project teams, support complex issue resolution, and mentor technical architects and senior developers.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

- Engage with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and IT teams to understand business processes, technology landscapes, and functional requirements.
- Lead business and technical workshops to gather, analyze, and document requirements for complex digital solutions.
- Design integrated solutions using OpenText VIM and SAP integration, aligned with client requirements and future technology roadmaps.
- Develop solution documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, solution blueprints, high-level and low-level designs, and deployment/configuration guides.
- Collaborate with program and project management teams on solution planning, implementation, acceptance, and rollout.
- Work with architects, developers, and testers to ensure solutions are implemented according to the proposed design and quality standards.
- Assess existing solutions and evaluate the impact of proposed changes, releases, and migrations.
- Perform basic configuration of OpenText VIM and integrations with SAP and OpenText components such as BCC, IC4S, Archive Center, Enterprise Scan, and Document Pipeline.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex functional, design, and implementation issues and prepare root-cause analyses.
- Provide technical and professional guidance to architects and senior developers.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and provide consulting support throughout the engagement.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED :

- Graduate/Postgraduate degree with 15+ years of professional experience designing medium to complex digital enterprise solutions.
- Strong experience with OpenText VIM and related OpenText products.
- Strong SAP ABAP programming experience, including Data Dictionary, OOABAP, Fiori, and RICEF objects.
- Strong understanding of SAP MM and FI business processes.
- Experience with SAP invoice processes including invoice posting, blocking, and parking.
- Experience with OpenText VIM installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
- Experience designing and delivering SAP and OpenText integrations.
- Strong solution design and documentation experience across the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent consulting skills, including stakeholder engagement, requirement elicitation, articulation, and influencing.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills, including relationship building and negotiation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience preparing root-cause analysis (RCA).
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide technical architects and senior developers.
- Experience with OpenText BCC, IC4S, Archive Center, Enterprise Scan, and Document Pipeline.
- Experience working on complex enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with globally distributed project and delivery teams.
- Experience providing strategic technology recommendations aligned with a client's current environment and future roadmap.
