Compensation:
At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $79,827 - $105,767.86 . Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.
Join Our Team as a Sourcing Analyst!
Key Responsibilities :
Commodity Market Intelligence & Forecasting
- Collect and consolidate commodity market data from internal and external sources.
- Maintain commodity impact reporting and forecasting models.
- Develop six-quarter commodity forecasts and identify cost, pricing, and supply chain headwinds.
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, tariffs, and geopolitical events affecting key commodities.
- Prepare and present commodity outlooks and business impact assessments to leadership.
- Identify opportunities to mitigate commodity cost and pricing risks.
Supplier Risk Management
- Lead monthly supplier risk reviews with sourcing managers.
- Monitor supplier performance, including quality (PPM), on-time delivery, financial health, and capacity risk.
- Escalate and communicate supplier risks impacting business continuity or supply assurance.
- Monitor global events and market conditions that may impact suppliers, commodities, or sourcing strategies.
- Support supply chain resilience and continuity planning efforts.
Skills & Qualifications :
Required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel and data management skills.
- Ability to analyze and forecast commodity market trends.
- Experience consolidating data from multiple sources and ensuring data accuracy.
- Strong presentation and communication skills .
- Ability to translate data into business recommendations.
- Experience working within sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
Preferred
- Commodity market analysis and forecasting experience.
- Supplier risk management experience.
- Power BI or data visualization experience.
- Knowledge of global supply chains, tariffs, and geopolitical risk factors.
Education :
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management , Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
Preferred
- 3-5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, commodity analysis, supplier risk management, or related analytical roles.
